Dear Expectant Parents,

Congratulations on this exciting new chapter in your life. As you embark on your journey through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period, having a well-planned support team is essential. I am grateful for your consideration in including me as a part of that team. Should you have any inquiries regarding doula care or my philosophy of birth, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here to address any questions that may arise following our initial interview.

My goal is to assist women and their partners in crafting birth plans that inspire confidence as they approach childbirth. I am dedicated to providing steadfast support to both the mother and partner on the delivery day, ensuring that regardless of the outcome, they emerge from the experience with a sense of pride in their journey.

With the right support system in place, our birth experiences may deviate from initial expectations, but they can transform into stories of resilience and empowerment, narratives shared with confidence and strength.

During the early postpartum phase, a critical period of adjustment for both mother and baby, I recognize the importance of establishing their bond while facilitating physical and emotional recovery from the birthing process. While this time is often imbued with joy, it can also be overwhelming and stressful for families.

Even in cases of the healthiest pregnancies and most empowering births, a woman's body undergoes significant strain, necessitating ample rest and recovery during the initial weeks. Sadly, many women experience feelings of isolation, apprehension, and loneliness during this period. New parents require substantial support and face comparable challenges, including sleep deprivation and physical and emotional vulnerability.

As a postpartum doula, I am committed to providing mothers with the physical and emotional support they need after the birth of their baby(ies). I offer families guidance on infant feeding, soothing techniques, emotional and physical recovery, and coping skills for new parents.
